Nowhere outside of your machine. Commander is local-first. Your credentials, notes and commands are stored encrypted using AES-256-GCM on your own hard drive. We don't have servers that store your information; your privacy is absolute.

For three specific cases: the initial license activation and logically, for using the network Toolkit (DNS queries, Whois, Ping, etc.). However, the application's "brain" (your command manager, the search engine and all your encrypted notes) is 100% offline. Your data lives on your hard drive, so you will always have access to your accumulated knowledge even in offline environments.

Due to our Absolute Local Privacy mindset, we don't have access to your data or store "master keys" in the cloud. **Password:** If you lose your master password, it's impossible to regain access to your data. There is no "remember password" button because no one but you has the key. **Disk Failure:** Being an offline-first app, your data lives only on your computer.
